I have seen the Rift Valley from the air because a teacher at the school likes to have a passenger when she goes for her joy rides – she has a powered glider which is really very light. Although it is slow the ride is comfortable and fun.
Letter from Graham to Diane 25 May 1975 –
I have been up twice in a powered glider. It has a cruising speed of about 80mph I think.
